BibTeX manages one or more bibliographic databases and makes their contents accessible to LaTeX. The bibliographic databases (files with the extension `BIB') are created in plain text and can be easily expanded by the user. The structure and general handling of BibTeX is described in `BTXDOC.TEX'; only the ST-specific features will be discussed here.
