Your clan, being a simple community with no aims of grandeur, thrive on a diet of grain. But grain is a decent sort of crop, and can be planted to produce even more grain. Thus your people live. You must decide each year how many sacks of grain to plant, and how many men to work as farmers. The more grain planted, the more grown, but only with enough farmers will you be able to harvest all that is grown.
