DECDriver is a driver for Ethernet cards on the PCI bus of the Hades040 or Hades060. DECDriver supports all Ethernet cards with the PCI Ethernet LAN controller DEC21040 and the newer DEC21041. The PCI bus is ideal for high transfer rates. And in combination with the DMA capability of the Ethernet LAN controller from Digital Equipment, effective transfer rates of over one megabyte per second can be achieved.
