This program converts uncompressed Spectrum pictures (filename extension .SPU) into 16-color Degas low resolution pictures (extension .PI1). Surprisingly, the 16-color versions of the 512-color pictures often look not bad, especially if the actual number of colors in the original was substantially less than 512.
