H.E.R.O. 2

Like the original, HERO 2 is a platformer in which you must rescue a number of individuals from a sealed complex which is on a self-destruct mechanism. The storyline is different but the aim is the same. You must navigate the various levels without the aid of a map or on-board computer. Looked doors will block your passage, some need to be blown up, others opened by a security key. You must enter rooms and collect objects in an attempt to find a radiation suit, locate a survivor and give him the suit. You must then exit the level and progress to the next. There are various hazards to avoid, such as dripping acid and unfriendly droids amongst other things. The first level is really just a trainer, after that it really gets tough! HERO 2 is jam packed with sampled music (impresive if you've got stereo speakers), sampled speech and jazzed up graphics, resulting in a major improvement over the already popular HERO 1. Needs 4 Mb, STE or Falcon only.
