    VIEWGIF allows your ST to show graphics created on a PC, an Amiga, whatever. Even if the original image has more colours or pixels than the ST can display. It also allows you to convert your Atari ST images into GIF format for exchange with other systems. VIEWGIF is GEM based and operates in all three resolutions. Images are displayed in scrollable windows. Once an image is loaded it can be saved in NEO or Degas Format. The image can also be cropped and shrunk to fit the ST screen. VIEWGIF also allows a GIF image to be directly transformed into AIM and Spectrum 512 pictures. This allows the 512 colour Spectrum mode to be used to display 256 colour VGA images.

    ShowMem4 allows you to examine the GEMDOS memory descriptor lists. The locations of these lists in memory is not documented by Atari. There is a search routine that should find these lists in all ROM versions (including future ones). If this search should fail, you will be alerted that this is an unknown ROM.

It also includes a cache program to reduce drive access times, and the SI-RAM program to create RAM disks and printer spoolers. Also runs on a 520 ST with only one drive.

    CLOCKSET.PRG allows you to set the system time and date. Its use is very simple. Just run the program (you may want to install it in your HotWire menu). It will show the current time and date and allow you to change it as you desire.

This causes all opposing pieces between your newly placed piece and a previously placed friendly piece to 'flip' over to your type. Later on a belgican guy called Dr Satan from F.A. converted the Noisetracker and created a ST-version. But the ST-version didn't include all the functions that the Amiga version had. Something had to be done. Il Profesore from ISTARI created DIGI COMPOSER; a modified and extended version of the ST Noistracker.
