AdvSys
ADVSYS is a special purpose programming language that was specifically designed to be used to write computer text adventure games. It includes a facility for defining the kinds of objects that are common in adventures. Some objects represent locations on the game map, some objects represent things that the player can find while exploring the adventure world, and some objects represent other characters that the adventurer can encounter during his or her journeys. The adventure language also provides a facility to define actions.

The object of the game is to find a hidden chalice in the maze, which is a cube of 3 to 8 squares: up to 512 locations. You can move forward, turn left, right, around, up and down. A pinball game featuring road signs and a police car. You get 7 balls and an extra one for reaching 36,000 points. -
Explode (Hibbs)
The object of the game is to turn all the pieces on the board to your own colour. To play the game move the mouse pointer to a square and click the left mouse button. This will add one to that square in your colour (you cannot select a square with your opponents piece on it). Each square has a critical explode value; The corner squares are 2, the edge squares are 3 and all central squares are 4. -

You start with $10,000 and try to make your fortune on the Stock market. Buy and sell, watch the trends, listen to the conflicting recommendations of Cautious Charlie and Wild Eyed Willie, receive dividends and more. Quest for the Holy Grail

Hero
This former commercial release is now available as Freeware due to the generosity of the programmer, and is a must for fans of this genre. The only differences from the full version are the lack of game introduction and one or two minor alterations. The game itself involves the rescue of a number of trapped personnel from a bio-nuclear complex. Radiation is dangerously high and security droids guard many areas but you must reach the trapped individuals in time and retrieve their teleport card. Your character, Jim, is completely joystick controlled throughout the game and can run, walk, jump, crawl and climb as well as fight off adversaries and access the computers that he finds scattered within the complex. A fun and challenging game with a great deal of appeal and a variety of levels for extended interest. Needs 1 Mb. -

Horoscope-ST
Converted from the IBM program of the same name. Enter your name and birthday and the program will calculate the celestial conditions for a given birthdate. It then goes on to print a horoscope along with a map showing the positions of the stars for that date. It then outputs a list of astronomical data. It is best used with a printer but can be output to screen. Runs in high or medium res. -

A two player game in which you place atoms on a board. When you place the fourth atom in a square you cause an explosion. If your opponent is nearby you eliminate one or more of his squares. Low res only. -
Kingdom
You must build up your wealth without risking revolt from the people. A carefully planned economic policy is needed here. -
Trucker
Drive a truck across the States. You have a choice of three cargos and three different routes which you can take. You must keep the truck properly maintained and fulled and take adequate rests. Your aim is to complete the trip and make a profit.

Spectral Sorcery
A unique board game for one or two players. The aim is to jump on squares or cast spells to turn all squares to your colour. The colour changes each time you jump on a square so make sure you change it to the correct colour. Obviously your opponent is trying to do the same. One of the best strategy games around.
