A puzzle game. Rows of dice move down the screen and you must shoot them in the required order if you are to survive.

A puzzle game for a number of players involving the solving of riddles. -
Naarjek V
Naarjek is a 'thinking' computer which has closed down all forms of access. Your mission is to gain access to the computer and stay within it. Naarjek will try to prevent your access if possible, therefore a sound strategy is essential. -
T-Game
One of the best Tetris type games around. -
Wordbid
An educational game for children which is similar in style to hangman.

Based on an ancient African game where stones are moved into bowls in order to get them home. -
Pelmanism
Match pairs of cards in a game against the computer. -
Queen
A game based on the moves of a queen in chess. Try to get to the bottom left of the screen taking alternate moves against the computer. -
Traffic
Control traffic lights by changing them to green. However, your actions also changes other lights making your job more difficult. -
Hexapawn
Similar to chess but played on a 3x3 board with pawns. Forward to move, diagonal to take pieces. -
Nibblers
Bite pieces from a biscuit without taking the last bit. -
Mister Tiler
Paint tiles on a 4x4 grid so that no two tiles of the same colour touch, either at the edges or corners. -
Solitaire (Erictronics)
Remove pegs from the board by jumping over them. -
Mr. Tiler's Apprentice
Similar to the previous game but using carpet tiles made up of four colours.

A sequel to Pork 1 and a parody of Infocom's Zork 2. This game features both lewd and tame modes so is not suitable for children.

Two versions of this strategy game are supplied. One covers North America, the other Europe. -

A vertically scrolling shoot 'em up. You must fly as far as you can over enemy territory to destroy a fuel base, avoiding hostile ground fire. One or two player option. -

Mutant (Shoot'em Up)

A re-vamp of the age old theme but this version pushes the STE to its limits using stereo DMA sound, the extended colour palette and most impressively, hardware scrolling. Just to add to the challenge, you have to beat two waves of alien attack before progressing to the next level.

Fruit Pursuit
This is a combination of a board game and a fruit machine! Your aim is to be the first player to reach the last square on the board. All the features of the fruit machine along with the usual elements of the average board game come in to play. Four players can play against each other or one player can play against the clock. -
Jiggers
A multi-level brain teaser in which you must turn all the pieces in the playing area to the same colour. As you change the colour of one piece, all others touching it will also change colour!

Collapse
A Columns type puzzle game where you must arrange the falling blocks to create lines of three or more of the same colour and prevent the blocks from reaching the top of the screen. -
Cyber Snake
Guide the snake around the playing area collecting diamonds as you go. Each diamond collected causes the snake to grow. Bump into the walls or your own tail and you lose a life. Collect all the diamonds to progress to the next level. -
Rocketball ST
A futuristic rollerball type game which involves trying to get a ball into your opponent's goal and beating them up at the same time! -
Chain Reaction
A puzzle game for 2 to 6 players involving atoms and cells. You must be the last player to have some atoms left on the board to win. The computer will play the role of several opponents. -
Creature Power
First you select a frog to control in the frog hop contest. If you win, you get a chance to play 'Creature Power' where you must select appropriate creatures to help you recover a jewel from beneath the ocean and return it to a distant island.

Rabbit Jump

A game to test your reactions. A message appears in a square on a grid, double click on the square before the message disappears. The grid contains more squares the further you progress. -
Burger Dream
By making a clown bounce up from a trampoline, Breakout style, you must clear the screen of horizontally moving hamburgers. -

Computer solitaire using two packs of playing cards. -
River Of No Return
The purpose is to rescue as many drowning people as possible with a rescue plane without falling victim to the attacking ships, balloons, tanks and helicopters or even radar towers.

A two player game. One player uses the mouse, the other a joystick. For cat haters everywhere! Fire missiles at your enemy whilst avoiding those fired at you. -
Zoox
An excellent and very addictive puzzle game. The object of the game is to control a ball around a grid, avoiding enemy balls and stationary blocks. Each time you pause, a copy of your ball is left behind. You must fill up all the squares on each level to progress to the next. STOS source for the game is included.

Klatrix
KLATRIX is a Columns type clone create using STOS. In this game groups of three colored tiles fall from the top of the screen. By pressing the fire button on your joystick you rotate the tiles so that you end up with the color order you wish, top to bottom (you hope). By aligning three of the same color, in any direction, you cause them to vanish -
Grampa Howard Mysteries: A Journey in the Past
A text adventure where you must journey back in time 100 years to help Grampa Howard find and defeat Dr Malvert. However, what seems to be obvious is not always so. -

Entombed
A platform game with plenty of objects to collect and traps to avoid. Find the exit on each level to progress to the next. This is made even more difficult as the layout of the level changes from time to time. -

A computer version of the well known game. Use the mouse to control the movement of the pegs. Very well presented. -
Snakes and Ladders
A snakes and ladders game, suitable for children. Use the mouse to roll the dice and make your way up the board. Normal snakes and ladders rules apply. -
Demolition Man
Game, written in C. Your task as an explosives specialist is to find 15 bombs in a 100-square playing field without blowing yourself up -
Asteroids
A reworking of the classic asteroids game. Manoevre your spacecraft to avoid the asteroids. Fire at them to destroy them, but steer clear of the debris! Control is either by keyboard or by joystick. Try to destroy the asteroids and avoid the flying saucers. Simple but addictive gameplay throughout.

Eaglestar
A graphic adventure created using STAC. It is based in the future and involves the struggle of one ordinary man who attempts to fight the system. You begin the adventure in prison. Very atmospheric and well presented. From the author of The Elven Crystals.

Ozone
An excellent Shareware game by Nick Harper. This is a combined platform and puzzle game where the object is to get to the top of the tower within the time limit. A very professional looking game which plays well and is highly recommended.

Tectic
You play against the computer, which is in this case a worthy opponent. Object of the game is to arrange one's tiles (you: `X' , computer: `O') like shown on any one of the cards below the playfield. Just click on ANY of your stones to move it to the free field. If you or the computer has arranged his stones properly, you or the computer get the card (which is equal to 1 point). After that, a new card is created. -
Robugs
Design and build your own robots and watch them interact on a playfield which you also design. A very involved and challenging game. -
Eat Your Words
One for the youngsters. On each level you must spell a word by eating the letters in the correct order, using the joystick as they float down the screen. -
Wizard of War
A gauntlet style game. Guide your figure around the maze, avoiding the enemy when possible.

Boogey Man II
Starts off with an amusing intro. Guide the snake around the playing area, collecting the required amount of coke cans to progress to the next level. Avoid nasties and keep away from the walls. Fast action in this 20 level game. -
Droolig and the King's Gold
A text adventure created with AGT. Droolig is a mean old dwarf who has stolen the King's treasure. Whoever returns the treasure from the labyrinth gains the hand of the Princess and half the loot. -
International Cricket
The sound of leather on willow. Choose your team and your opponents and battle it out on an international stage. Fully mouse controlled. STOS source included.

A dice game for up to six players, Yahtzee combines luck and skill in equal measure. Each player has thirteen turns - each turn consists of three throws. At the end of each turn, the score obtained must be entered into one of the score categories provided, and explained below.

Quiz Construction Kit
Designed for both children and adults, this program allows the user to design and take part in their own multiple choice quizzes. -
Bang
The idea of the game is to mark the position of mines on a grid without uncovering them. The size of the grid varies depending on the level of play, as does the number of mines to be found. The game is played against the clock (displayed top left of the grid). The game finishes when either you uncover a mine, or you have correctly marked all the mines in the grid. -

Your aircraft flies across the screen from left to right, getting lower with each pass. You must drop bombs onto the buildings in order to destroy them, thereby allowing your plane to fly lower. Fail to destroy the buildings and you crash.

Hunt for Grey November
A submarine has been stolen by terrorists, your mission is to destroy the subs from the air whilst flying your Lockheed S-3A Viking. The game screen shows a map over which you must fly, section by section, searching for the enemy, who is just as keen to destroy you as you are to remove him.

Jetpac
Guide the little dude with the jetpac around the screen, collecting bits of rocket (In correct order, Bottom to Top) and drop them over the launch pad to build it. Then do the same for the fuel that drops down until the fuel-guage is full. Jump in the ship and off you go to the next level. Based on a really old Spectrum game. -
Headlong
Goth's tribute to Avina Blue. The ultimate vertical scroller. Navigate your ship through intricate space tunnels. The speed is frantic. The scenery is nightmarish. Your reactions, to survive, must be lightning fast.

Dizzy Lizzy II - A Winters Tale
This is Dizzy Lizzy II with the same addictive gameplay as the original and 40 more levels. Set in a serene Christmas atmosphere, this followup boasts new graphics with transporters, switches, grave stones, snowballs, exploding Christmas puddings and the persistent meanies. -
Bert the Squirt
An 80 level game solely designed to help Bert get fatter! Collect the fruits, use fire to bounce on the springs and don't touch the aliens or the spikes.

Blat
BLAT! is based around the old three-in-a-row falling blocks idea, but with a few new ideas added. These include dynamite, lightning, acid bottles, smart bombs, indestructible blocks, randomizers, annihilators, etc, etc. In true Jeff Minter fashion there is a positive plethora of samples. In fact this is the only reason the game is STE only

GEM Gnu Chess
A very good chess simulator with a variety of functions available, including a piece editor, numerous skill levels and a hint feature for those moments when you need a little helping hand. Includes some good graphics and is fully mouse controlled.

Conquest
A Shareware game by Ralph Effemey. The object of the game is to survive for a year as ruler of your chosen land. You are able to influence all the major decisions regarding your land, the buying and selling of food, the general health of your subjects and the success or failure of your army, amongst other things. A must for all fans of "God"games. Needs 1 Meg.

Baby Mugluck
Help Baby Mugluck find his mummy whilst avoiding a variety of hazards, including rocks and some deadly snails. Milk bottles and rusks picked up along the way provide Baby Mugluck with extra energy. A very colourful and lively platforms and ladders game with a large number of different screens to explore.

Arthur of the Britons
You explore the four lands, trying to keep Arthur and his men alive. As you progress, you will encounter sub games, such as an archery tournament or a target shooting section. You may visit villages and attack enemy castles, making this a very good historical simulation. A mouse controlled game which goes into a great deal of depth. Needs 1 Meg.

Rolling Blasters
Use the joystick to guide a ball through a number of routes to a goal at the bottom of the screen. Go off the pathway as you try to move quickly and you lose a life, take too long and you will be beaten by the very strict time limit.

Dungeon Lord
Obviously influenced by Dungeon Master but set in the future. Control is by mouse. You are sent back in time to repair history and so save the universe from destruction. First create your own character, then travel through the dungeons of Lord Shrax and thwart his evil plans. Only three levels are accessible at first. You must register with the author to get the codes for the other levels. Needs 1 Meg.

The latest game from Jeff Minter, entitled Hardcore. It's a very fast shoot-em-up set in the future. -
Sno-Fite
A fun two player game where you score points for hitting each other with snowballs. The better the hit, the higher the score! Don't forget to build up your barricades by building a snowman first! -
Valgus^2
Valgus^2 (pronounced "Valgus squared", and henceforth referred to as VSQ) is naturally the sequel to Valgus, which itself was a public domain version of Tetris. In VSQ, the seven familiar Valgus pieces as back, but they are tired of falling straight down the screen! Instead, they will come at you from all four sides of the 27x27 playing area. -
Rockfall - The Special Edition 1.51
Based on Boulder Dash, you must collect diamonds by walking over them, at the same time as avoiding the nasties. -
Rockfall 2 - The Perils of Spud (Preview)
In Rockfall, you control Spud, whose task it is to collect all of the diamonds in each level. He must also dispose of the Monsters and use all of the transporters, when present. Each level must be completed within a set time. This will vary from level to level. -
Hunchy 2010
A classic Shareware adaptation of the Hunchback games from days of old. Closely follows the original game (but with better graphics) and is just as addictive.

Mars Maze
You must travel across a series of platforms within a certain time limit to reach a fuel pod and so exit onto the next level. However, each level is populated by some nasties. On early levels they are ghosts and severed hands, who must be disposed of before you can progress further. As you get deeper into the game, the baddies are the least of your worries, just climbing the platforms to the exit within the allowed time is enough of a challenge!

Worm
You are the hero Ooey Gooey worm and your task is to rescue worm eggs from monsters. A platform game where you must collect all the eggs on each screen to make progress. Bonuses can also be collected on many levels. There are 25 levels in total and control is by joystick. -
Teserae
A Tetris variation with rasters behind the falling blocks. The usual rules apply in this colourful game which is played over six different levels. -
Attack of the Dangerous Alien Gun Turrets from Jupiter's Third Moon
Based on the classic game "Thrust". The aim is to destroy everything on each level so as to make progress into the game. Coins can also be collected and used in the shop to buy additions to your spaceship. -
Santa's Workshop
Similar to Rabbit except that this time Santa must be bounced to collect candles as they move across the screen. -
Rabbit Jump
Further development of Clowns & Balloons. A rabbit has allied itself with the fox to get as many carrots as possible over the fox's back. These fly in 3 rows over the animals and can be 'eaten' by touching them.

Fallers
In fact there is a choice of two games which use the same basic theme. In game one, you use the joystick to catch as many falling objects as you can as they descend down the screen. Assuming you don't miss too many, you progress to the next level. There are 25 levels in all. In game two you choose how many objects you are allowed to miss, then you must achieve this target to succeed.

Fast Freddy
Your task is to guide Freddy around a number of different landscapes, including islands, deserts and snow covered mountains, in order to destroy the evil Tikita, rescue Kim and recover his speed, which has been stolen by Tikita. You start on Beginners Island but once you get used to the controls and progress deeper into the game, things really begin to hot up.

Blox 2.0
Place pieces in the centre of the screen to make rings, completed rings disappear. A similar idea to Tetris but with a number of differences. Very addictive. -
Swaping Tiles
You must travel around a group of tiles stepping on each one only once to arrive at a set destination, usually a grey tile. However, take too long planning your route and you are sent back to the start. Not 4 MB. -
Unmagnificent 15
Test your reactions as you aim to outdraw and outlive, as mean a bunch of outlaws as ever entered a saloon. Use the mouse to position the cross hairs on the gunslingers before they draw on you. Eight levels are included, with the outlaws drawing even faster as you get further into the game.
