Please read the manual before attempting to use the program as an entry code (11111) is given. A screen display of an apple, a drill, a pig and lots of sundry items leads (on one column only) to a relevant second screen. The apple is related to a greengrocer's for example. Clicking on various objects on display requires that each one be spelled out in English or French. Letters are selected from a grid at the bottom, complete with French accents. This is coupled to a voice, spelling out the letters. Diction is very clear and the graphics are good. A wrong answer is followed by an automatic spelling of the word. Certainly enough scope to stimulate interest in paying out £10 for the full 500 word program which is of a professional standard. Some of the French words are not in frequent use so you can learn as you go.
