Captain's QWK version 2.6e by Dirk Hoeschen is an offline mail reader for the Atari that lets you download QWK packets from your local bbs. QWK is an easy and cheap way, to read, enter and reply to messages on your local BBS without being online. In many BBSes it's possible to tag the message areas you are interested in and have the BBS to pack a QWK-mailbundle. Captain's QWK will process those bundles for you.
