Delta Labs PD

The DL series was started by the company Delta Labs, publisher of a popular range for Ataris CDs (Alpha, Omega, Transmission and others). This series was started late in the ST’s life cycle and features therefore more modern applications. Delta Labs later went into the business selling ink for printers, but the company never forget its Atari roots: At Deltalabs.biz you can download their CDs, the CD magazine Revolution and various PD series (J, AM, Pool, GFA-Club, DL, Kontrast, TT).

    For computers without a hardware clock there are DCF77 receivers available from different companies which can be connected to the computer to receive the official standard time of the Federal Republic of Germany with high accuracy. DCF_TIME now offers the possibility to decode the signals delivered by the receiver reliably and unobtrusively. The decoding runs in the background and regularly ensures the current time. As a special feature you can choose between the local time in Germany (CET, CEST) and the world time UTC. The daylight saving time is automatically taken into account.

  • WATCH-IT
    WATCH-IT is a picture viewer for Atari ST/STE/TT/Falcon030 computers. It was planned as a viewer for the new Falcon computer only, supporting the 256-colour-resolution and the truecolour-resolution, but as it is a plain GEM-program, you can also start it on the "old" Ataris as well. WATCH-IT runs on all memory-configurations, but 512 KByte may be too small for big pictures.

    The object of Dark Pearl is to traverse the vertically scrolling field while picking up (bouncing on) the red-green-blue jewels along the way. Various tiles will help or hinder you on the way. When you make it all the way up to the top of the field (7 screens up) and all of the jewels are collected you proceed to the next level! If you still have jewels left you are sent back to the start of the field to try again. Use your joystick to guide the pearl over the tiles. There are 10 levels in all. Levels 4 and 8 are bonus rounds.
